John Kavanaugh is Detroit, Mich. resident and social activist. He has been active in GLBT movement since 1968, was member of Detroit's Gay Liberation Front, founding member and first lay head of Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit, Integrity, ONE, GLBT Caucus of the Episcopal Church, Detroit chapter of Black and White Men Together, and the Triangle Foundation of Detroit.
